Great park for walking and bike riding, very popular with locals and families so you''re never alone if you have an accident.

The main drag is the newish Peninsula Link trail which goes through the Reserve before following the freeway to Mt Eliza. It's fully sealed and fine for touring bikes. Secondary are the gravel, but very decent hybrid/MTB bike and walking tracks: Panorama, Hakea Ridge, Boundary and Boggy Creek. All Great!

The entire park used to be sand dunes, so you might find some of the less well-known and groomed trails such as the Dune, Trigger Plant and Manna Gum Tracks challenging for mountain bike riders - so much sand! So many steep hills!

Best of all, is Mt Monterey and the Hakea Ridge look out. Best views in Frankston, and magical on a clear summer's evening. Very...

Awesome place to walk. NEVER been here before. Wife and I are starting to get in to bush walking and decided we go somewhere quiet and local to start training for some big walks. This place is fantastic! Went Mid week and it was isolating and marvelous! We walked for approximately 2 hours over 5 klm... We didn't realise how big is this place. We were able to head up to the lookout and you could see the city. Lovely place for a stroll through and picnic with the family or just with your dog or both... The Bush walking was serene and it gave us the opportunity to get used to our packs......

Some really pleasant walking tracks through the reserve with some great views. Plenty of different routes you can take, and the reserve is actually quite large. We saw quite an array of different bird wildlife, with lots of parrots and cockatoos. Dogs are allowed on leash which was great, and there's two main parts to the reserve that you can explore. Parking was fairly small, but there were not that people there. A few benches and shaded areas near the...

A peaceful, serene reserve in Metropolitan Melbourne. Nice area for a walk, jog or bike ride, with a designated bike track, at any time. And not too far from the city. The Pines Flora and Fauna Reserve is a very calm, free, park with a running creek and natural Australian fauna. If you're lucky, you may come across some wildlife.

Just a great place to walk, especially with your dog. Terrain is not too bad either, and tracks are pretty well marked. Nice very distant views of Melbourne city on a good day too. Go in the periphery of the day and you will most likely see the odd wallaby. This place is almost a daily ritual for me.
