The cafe here is the most excessively overpriced place I have ever been!! We booked a gourmet tea for 5 people at $60 per person. On the phone when we made the arrangements with the manager of the cafe we were told we would receive a platter of meat sandwiches, a platter of vegetarian sandwiches, some antipasto, a platter of cakes, scones, tea and two bottles of champagne. Imagine our total shock when we were served two tiny boards with a lot of sliced cheese, a handful of salami, a few crackers, 3 miniscule quarters of a sandwich (for 5 people not even ONE full sandwich!!), 4 slices of a wrap (again, not even a full wrap!!), a couple of olives & pickles and only four scones!!! ZERO CAKES!!! And only ONE bottle of champagne as they said we could only have the champagne (and they gave us a cheap $16 bottle of prosecco) OR the tea so if we wanted any non-alcoholic drinks they would be removing the other bottle of champagne!!! They wouldn't even provide a jug of water on a very hot day! How on earth can anyone justify charging $300 for this measly quantity of food!!!! When we complained to the manager and also asked where on earth our platter of cakes had disappeared to her response was that we had been given four scones and "thank you for the feedback"!! On top of this, we had requested indoor seating as we had a baby, a person with walking difficulties and a person with severe hayfever allergies. Instead they walked us to the furthest part of the garden where we were seated on cane chairs and attacked by mosquitoes and flies. I cannot believe how uncaring some people can be!! Will never go back to this place as there are other lovely lavender farms in the area which have never left a bitter taste in our mouths, but I wanted to warn others to avoid spending any money here as it is a...
Read moreAttended the Dogs day at the farm. No one bothered to check if we were the 9am -1pm or the 1pm - 5pm session on our tickets. Dunno why we had to book tickets in the end considering they were selling at the gates to anyone who rocked up as a last minute decision. Then to add to it all, the Cafe was a long wait in line with not enough staff on (those poor girls run off their feet! They're champions for what they had to deal with), there was definitely not enough food or drinks. If there was two session times on the tickets, you'd think there would be enough food/ drinks to accommodate each session by going off the pre-purchased ticket amounts at the very least. I bought tickets very early on and was so excited to try lavender food and drinks, that I ended up with a boring Capi and a scone. Shame there wasn't even enough lavender lemonade. There also wasn't adequate water access for all the dogs, luckily we bring our own water and bowls. We were very underwhelmed and probably won't return in the future. It could've been such a great event if there was some coffee vans or food trucks, more stall holders and more seating. I get this was a first event of it's kind, but it was advertised across social media and even the Herald Sun, maybe sticking to the pre-purchased online ticket amounts and session times would've helped with the crowd and the planning of adequate food in the Cafe and staff (once again, this girls...

The highlight of our visit was walking through the gorgeous lavender fields. The soothing fragrance of the lavender, coupled with the scenic backdrop of rolling hills, made it a sensory delight. It’s a fantastic spot for photography, and the peaceful ambiance feels like a true retreat from the hustle and bustle of daily life.
The café is another gem, offering a menu that creatively incorporates lavender into their dishes. We tried their lavender scones with lavender jam and cream—absolutely divine! The lavender ice cream was also a standout, with a subtle floral flavor that was both refreshing and unique.
The staff were warm and welcoming, eager to share insights about lavender farming and the various products available in their shop. Speaking of which, the gift shop is a treasure trove of handmade lavender goods, from essential oils and soaps to candles and dried bouquets—a perfect way to take a piece of the farm home.
