And she adored the mosaics and colourful footprints and river stone snakes and things set into the pavement and gardens. All in all a beautifully planned and well thought out space that genuinely adds to the environment it's set in. Swings, flying fox, water play and sandpit, nature play, small slides, maze, musical bridge, bouncy see saw, toilets, drinking fountains. Parking is free, but not especially abundant. A short walk up the track, past the exercise space there is a suspension bridge that crosses the river. A platypus has been spotted here...

The only issue that is keeping this park from being an instant 5 stars is the SHOCKING design of the bridge connecting one side of the rapids to another.
