Lake Pamamaroo — Attraction in Menindee

Lake Panamaroo is accessed by 7klms of unsealed road, out of the town Menindee, NSW. When we were there about 7mths ago the lake was full the water has a greenish tinge but not algae, dead trees line the water in the lake. It is peaceful and pleasant has beach sand on the foreshore where you can camp. Nice spot. Little tip...don't go to the main camping area which is high banked. About halfway down the entrance road there are little entrances to lower banked camping spots and even some beaches great for launching kayaks. Not sure what was going on when we were there but there was a lot of dead fish around of all types and sizes. Very peaceful when not...
