Came here in November and along with my friends and their kids, we stretched out a picnic rug, pulled out lunch and some sparkling wine and enjoyed the bush under some big shady trees. The Delatite River borders one side of the park and the kids loved playing in the water. Do keep your eye on them. I certainly enjoyed playing amongst the rocks with the kids and making mini dams. There is a nice playground for the kids, picnic tables, barbeques as well as toilets. We saw a few mountain bikers and day bushwalkers - will have to do that next time. At this time of year there was no fee to enter the park but apparently, in winter, the Alpine Resorts charge an entry fee for the skiers.
