We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today with our fellow neighbours from WONDAI QLD. There were 6 of us at our table to celebrate a 50th Golden Wedding Anniversary for a special pair of dear friends. The meals, wines and service were impeccable and a view to enjoy topped it off. The main meals were 1st rate, the wine delicious, desserts scrumptious and the hosts were super friendly and their table service was 1st rate. This establishment was recommended to us and we have no hesitation in giving it 5 stars and would highly recommend this little niche winery to anyone . We had a great experience at Moffatdale Ridge Winery yesterday while out and about exploring South East Queensland. The setting of this family business is just plain stunning, with all the family working yesterday. Jason, the owner and wine maker took us through a tasting of a lovely selection of his wines, generous with his knowledge and family history. We then had a delicious meal on the deck, firstly sharing plates of delicious finger food with our friends, then a perfectly cooked steak for me and a pasta for Dirk. Fabulous destination...

They say they are the friendliest winery and oh my gosh have they got that right. Emily is just a sweety. So cheery, helpful and friendly. You can taste everything they have for free. That’s because they know you will be buying something to take home with you. My beer only husband bought a bottle of red and I bought 2 bottles of macadamia liquor and a lovely chocolate tawny port.
