This is the closest thing to a Northern Territory waterfall experience I've had here in Victoria!

Located all of 10 minutes out of our accomodations in Porepunkah, a cut-out parking on the left as you head up Mt Buffalo takes you to a bridge over that overlooks Lady Bath Falls. It's a short and energetic walk but taking in the view of the falls is a reward in itself.

You'll enjoy a dip even more if you make the 500m climb to view Upper and Lower Eurobin Falls first. That sure to get your hot enough to tolerate the cold mountain water of the falls!

On a hot summer day, score yourself a rock and make your way to the top plunge pool for a refreshing dip. If it's busy (and it can be! We visited during the school holidays in late January), scramble across granite boulders downstream to enjoy a myriad of cooling rock pools to sit and relax in. Crocs or some other water-friendly shoe is highly recommended.

There are no toilets at Lady Bath Falls: the closest ones are at the Eurobin Creek Picnic Grounds at the entrance to Mt Buffalo National Park. There are no bins, either, so take everything with you and leave nothing but nature behind.

This site is best enjoyed on a hot summer's day as the water is very cold otherwise. During the colder months the roads up here are treacherous and icy and chains are required on...

The easy walk out to Ladies Bath Falls rewards visitors with one of the most spectacular river pools in the area. The crystal clear water cascades into the granite pool which is perfect for cooling off on warm summer days.

Located on Mount Buffalo Road, just a 10-minute drive from Porepunkah, this short 400m walk takes you to the beautiful Ladies Bath Falls. On a warm day, the pristine waterfalls and rock pools are perfect for a dip. Pack a picnic and enjoy an afternoon on the boulders next the pools. The path is well formed with steps making it an easy, uphill stroll for all ages and abilities.

In the early 20th century, travellers would stop here to cool off on their way up to the Mount Buffalo Chalet from Melbourne. The men and women would separate and Ladies Bath is where the women would dip their toes and refresh in the refreshing waters of Crystal Brook. It is these seemingly pure and gentle waters that have over time caused the dramatic and iconic Mount Buffalo Gorge you will see up at the top of Eurobin Falls.

If you are cooling off at Ladies Bath Falls, take care walking over the rocks as they can be...

Ladies Bath Falls is a beautiful waterfall located in the Mount Buffalo National Park, Victoria, Australia. It is a short and easy walk from the car park, making it a perfect destination for a family outing or a quick stop on a road trip. The falls cascade into a crystal-clear pool, which is perfect for swimming on a hot day. There are also plenty of rocks to sit on and relax and enjoy the scenery.

Here are some of the things I liked about Ladies Bath Falls:

The short and easy walk to the falls

The beautiful crystal-clear pool

The stunning scenery

The peaceful atmosphere

Here are a few things to keep in mind:

The falls can be quite crowded on weekends and holidays.

There are no toilets or other facilities at the falls.

Be careful walking on the rocks, as they can be slippery.

Overall, I highly recommend Ladies Bath Falls for a refreshing and scenic getaway. Just be sure to be prepared for the crowds and lack of facilities.

I hope this...

Where is this❓ 📍Ladies Bath Falls, Mysterious Mogullumbidj (Mount Buffalo National Park), Victoria Ladies Bath is one of the first places you can stop on your way up Mount Buffalo 🌿 🚶‍♀️A short and easy 400 meter walk (5 minutes) from the road to the falls. 🚗 The drive from Melbourne to Mt Buffalo takes about 3.5-4 hours to complete. This is a great place for a picnic and a dip. But only if your brave… the water is freezing!! ⚠️ Be careful walking over the rocks as they can be very slippery. We acknowledge the Yaithmathang tribe who are the traditional owners of this land. This is a sacred aboriginal sight so please treat this location with lots of care and leave no trace 🫶 Tag someone you want to explore this magical place with below! 👇 . . . . #whereisthis #visitmelbourne #visitvictoria #seevictoria #victoriahighcountry #highcountryvictoria #mountbuffalo #mountbuffalonationalpark #ladiesbathfalls #alpinevictoria #brightandsurrounds #waterfallsvictoria #victoriawaterfalls #roadtripaustralia #travelguide #adventureguideaustralia #adventureguide #roadtripvictoria
