Excellent look-out and panoramic views of Mount Isa QLD.
Telstra Hill (*also known as Four Mile Hill) is located just to the east of Mount Isa, less than 10 kilometres out of Mount Isa as you are heading to Cloncurry on the Barkly Highway.
This unofficial Mount Isa lookout offers breath-taking views of Mount Isa town, the surrounding areas and the beautiful landscape, flora and fauna.
At the top is "Telstra telecommunications tower" and "BOM weather bureau radar". Mount Isa amateur Radio Club has a repeater at Telstra Hill and a APRS positioning system.
Rough & very steep road up to the top but manageable in 4wd or could hike up the hill.

Keep in mind the road is quite washed out and I'd recommend a 4x4 to get to the top, especially if it's rained recently.
