Camels Hump – Car Park Review:
The car park at Camels Hump is unsealed but generally accessible. While there are several large potholes and puddles — especially noticeable after rain — the crushed rock surface provides reasonable traction. Just take it slow on the drive in.
It’s easy to spot from the main road, and there was a good amount of space available when we arrived around 8am.
Surrounded by beautiful bushland, the area feels peaceful and remote. We were greeted by birdsong and the crisp morning air, and later, the sound of the wind through the trees — even hearing them crack — was both eerie and unforgettable.
