A short drive from Renmark to visit the lookout over the cliffs. Easy parking and a short walk to the lookout. The lookout is a steel tower about 15m high with wonderful views over the cliffs and mighty Murray River. The steel stairs to access the platform at the top of the tower are well-designed with good handrails so easily accessible for the able-bodied and safe for kids to use. The road beyond the lookout tower is in poor condition, heavily corrugated with few turning around points.

Beautiful spot to see the sunset over the mighty river Murray, it is quite a small lookout but you can also go right up to the cliffs edge, just be careful as there is no railing. Unfortunately there is no toilet here either. If you continue on about 2.5kms up the dirt track there is the forrest landing which is a free campsite with a boat ramp

It's an easy drive out to Headings Cliff from Renmark/Paringa. Bitumen road all the way, then park on gravel & a few meters walk to the lookout tower. It's three flights of steps up to the top of the lookout, which can be done in easy stages, with each stage presenting stunning views. Highly recommend a drive out if you are in the area.

Such a beautiful lookout to see Murray River with colorful cliffs. Better to climb on the top of the lookout to overlook the scenery. Absolutely wonderful views, particularly in a sunny day! There are plenty of free parking, as not too many people visit here.

A view of Heading Cliffs from on the river with our houseboat hire. The ever changing colours with sunrise and sunset is amazing, then to get a full moon in the background too. Amazing view from down on the river.❤️☀️
