Date/time of visit: 5 May 2024 at 1.30pm The venue was busy when we arrived. Many tables were also reserved. We did not have a reservation but they seated us outside (beautiful sunny, warm autumn day). They advised if another party arrived we might have to share the table (the table could accommodate 6) and they verified if we were happy with that before seating us. There may have been more availability inside, since tgat was also an option. Ordering was via QR code using their WiFi network due to limited modile data reception. This did concern me briefly due to the unknown security if tgeir network and entering my credit card details to place the order. I think you could also order and pay at the counter, not certain. We ordered a cider tasting flight and a wood fired peperoni puzza. The tasting flight was accompanied by a document describing the different ciders. It also advises the number of standard drinks if you consume the entire flight yourself. The tasting flight was insightful, with some ciders not to my taste. Some were easy drinking and some were nicely different from others I have consumed (from different cidery). The pizza did take a while to arrive due to the number of patrons and limited space in the wood fired oven. However, when it did arrive, it was delicious (unfortunately couldn't enjoy it with the tasting flight since that had more or less been consumed by that point). We did buy anout 7 cans of cider to take home as a result of the tasting flight. Very pleasant afternoon. Staff were great and knowledgeable of their product.

Repeat visit today off the back of a delicious visit the last time we were in the area. Even better this time around! We each had a vegan pizza (veggie pizza with vegan option) and shared the cider tasting paddle. The pizza crusts were perfectly blistered and chewy , the toppings were the perfect amount and the flavours beautifully balanced . The emerald green of the rocket against the creamy vegan cheese and pops of fresh pumpkin were a visual delight as well. I must mention the delicious vegan cheese - whoever they’re getting it from or whatever recipe they’re using , wow. Long story short - they might only have limited vegan options but they are well worth making the visit for. We’ve been looking forward to ordering the cider tasting paddle and thoroughly enjoyed the tasting opportunity as well. Well informed, we knew just what we wanted to get on the way out. All up - Highly recommended.

Still de-CIDing if you should visit Daylesford Cider Company? Don't be mistake, it is worth the visit. A delicious and varying selection of ciders are available, including a taster board if you can't decide what you would like, and bottles available for purchase so you can't take home more of what you do enjoy. The Toasties were top quality with great flavour combinations to sooth your hunger cravings, and I would recommend treating yourself to the apple crumble for desert, you deserve it. The warm spiced cider was a particular stand out, and a delightful and warming finish to a satisfying meal in a relaxing environment. An enjoyable dining experience I will definitely be returning to.

Unfortunately I wanted to share a disappointment I had. Today my partner and I traveled here for lunch with our dog because it was dog friendly. We read the website and sign out the front for the rules of having a dog.

A soon as we walked into the courtyard, a dog not on lead walks up to my dog. We turn back towards our car as my dog doesn’t appreciate dogs walking up to her, especially without an owner. My dog barked at the dog as a warning, but the dog followed us towards the car park.

No other guests got up so wasn’t sure if it was a guests dog. But if this is the owners/establishments dog, why is it off lead when the rules clearly say all dogs on lead.

My dog can get reactive if another dog is in her face, but she doesn’t care for dogs that are 1 or 2 meters away from her sitting down.

So we didn’t get to try and food or cider which looks great for all the other reviews, but we simply couldn’t enter the place and not one person come out to get the...
