Would highly recommend a visit to this beautiful winery not far out of Melbourne. Not only are the hosts warm and welcoming the wines are superb with something for everyone. Strongly recommend the White Chocolate Port (A Must Try- Will Buy!!!) the white port and dark chocolate port are sensational also. For a special gift lovely decanter of tawny port and the surprise for me is the relatively new Sav Blanc. St. Anne's Merlot, as expected, after trying the 2010 previously (which was stunning) the 2014 was also a winner....A must see for couples looking to tie the knot in a beautiful setting with the lovely little waterfall and fishpond running under the bridge between the cellar door and blue stone reception rooms including an absolutely divine chapel, 2 different reception rooms to choose from, lovely intimate setting and fabulous menu options. Much love, thought and consideration has gone into planning the design of this winery and special events facilities, right down to the finest of details. If you like what you see online you will be blown away when you check it out in person. Even the sweet little landscaped courtyards if you are looking for something special outdoors with the lovely vineyards, blue stone cellar door, reception rooms, chapel and gardens as your backdrop. Drop in, have a chat over a wine tasting do a tour and you will not be disappointed you took the 45 min trip from Melbourne! I've now booked to go visit their Echuca Moama winery over ANZAC weekend...They also have a shop in Lorne I believe!...

When reviewing the limited menu where two of the eight options were chips and a kids pizza we decided to go with the grazing board the pork croquettes. The grazing board was mid probably a 5/10. The croquettes were terrible just a mixture of unseasoned shredded pork and cheese deepfried. Tasted like a mushy pile of baby food that had gone bad. Probably one of the worst thing I've tasted.
The building where the restaurant was located was tidy but not clean. The staff member serving us was nice and my wifes glass of wine was actually very good.
What blows my mind is how this place has a 4.8 star rating from 250 plus reviews and there lies a lesson to be learnt, never believe the...
Read moreCame here on a Sunday, just passing through. Started with a wine tasting (girl in the cellar was sour and not very knowledgeable on any of the wines) Very casual vibe for lunch a bit of a Sunday sesh it seems with casual wear people in sneakers and thongs.
Pizzas, wine and beer on the menu.
Understaffed but the chef knows his pizzas and what we ordered was very delicious. A little disappointing we didn’t get the QR code when we were given our table, sat there for 10 minutes wondering who would take our order until someone came over and asked if we were ok and needed anything else?
Overall, very chill, good vibes, could use a better friendlier sommelier in the cellar but food was yummy. Would I come back, probably not, but it’s a good spot for the locals or a quick bite if you’re passing through. Recommend trying their chocolate...
