Lobster Falls — Attraction in Needles

What a beautiful place was told to go visit it whilst driving through and noticed it was 10 mins away so we decided to just do it. Was about 1.5hrs return hike and that's with a 20 min stop at the falls to get our energy back.

Did the hike with wife and 2 kids 13 and 14yrs Little sections are tricky on the cliff but not to crazy. The last part needing the garden hose to absail down was fun once there was worth it. The falls were not crazy as it hadn't been raining but...

Enjoyed this walk and great falls to view (5 stars for the falls themselves) but track needs major work along the cliff edge and in a few other spots. Very narrow with no room for error. Steep slop right at the edge. Two sets of falls. Don’t get to the first one and think you have arrived. Keep going to the second ones. This is where you can rock sit and enjoy the view. A great hike for confident hikers. The photos cannot reflect the experience.

Not very strenuous but keep your wits and balance in some segments. The marking is mostly good but watch your path and look for the signs (triangles on the trees, some old ribbons).

A small parking patch is easy to find next to the main road. We completed the entire trip in 2.5 hours including stops.

Kids: I guess an active 10 year...
