Absolute Heaven. Access via a short walk through the trees. You can turn off early on the path that splits off to the right. Or if coming back from the Lighthouse there is a path off to the left down timber steps to the sand. I have been wading here but I stuck to the shallows as the tidal pull can be quite strong and they don't actually recommend this side for swimming. On my latest visit we were here early in the morning but by around 10am the tide changed and the current became very strong and we resorted to heading back to the sand to enjoy the view. There are a lot of hidden rocks under the water so please take care. From a visual perspective I adore this beach! And at low tide there are little crabs in the rocks and a narrow cave on the beach itself. So really pretty to take photos. But if you are coming here to swim, maybe try the patrolled beach which is off to the left track from the walk in, or down near the surf club.
