Red Rock Beach — Attraction in New South Wales

Great beach, picturesque headland and beautiful river. The surf beach is a short walk over the headland and is patrolled in summer. The river entrance offers a protected surf beach with a shallow slope (no surf patrol on the day we visited) and the opportunity to snorkel around the rocks or to drift snorkel on the inflowing tide. Unfortunately, there weren't many fish to see when we went in, but it was a great swim any way. Lovely place to visit with the family. Doesn’t cost a thing to visit and has incredible views. Red rock has plenty of great places to fish and to go for a swim. The general store at red rock is quite pricy though so it’s best to pack and lunch and bring drinks. There’s also a nice beach not far from fishing spots that is a nice place to relax....
