What an absolute gem to the town of Nhill. We happened to come across this place as we were looking for a place to stay the night. We just completed a transfer of ownership with our new Pod trailer and didn't want to drive 4hrs home in the dark. The night was peaceful with only one other van parked nearby. Next morning we discovered the heritage walk that covers the property that was once the RAAF training base for WW2. We found it very informative and interesting with the site having some remains of the surviving building sites. We also visited the museum and was greeted by the most friendly and warm couple with the passion this facility deserves. Thanks Len and Jenny for the lovely chat and hospitality.
