Absolutely stunning place. We were fortunate enough to have our 4WD so we could explore so much more. The sand is so clean and soft. Definitely worth the time to explore and see the beautiful flora and fauna this place has to offer. We will come back when we visit this region. So many beautiful memories made here. Make sure you have the ability to deflate and inflate your tyres when driving in the sand to the coast. Some sections are really soft and without correct tyre pressure you may get yourself stuck. Lots of inclines and descents so it can get challenging with your smaller 4WDS.

Only came here for the day for some serious 4WD ing and certainly found that the beaches were amazing and the sand dunes massive . Often the sand is very soft and you need very soft tyres and a lot of right foot and momentum. Did not find any facilities or shops or water, so it’s BYO everything. A flag is really recommended as you cannot see over the crests and they are steep climbs so you need speed

Awesome 4wdriving,the gums campground is accessible to a 2wd with decent clearance, stony point not so,15.00 bucks a night, must book online, both have drop toilets Little Dip is all about 4wdriving,its heaven, make sure you enter from evans cave road if coming from Robe to get that bit extra track, liitle dip beach/eringtons hole is the softest just keep up the right foot😉,

This is one of the most beautiful 4WD tracks I have been through. The coastline is just amazing, rugged limestone, stony reefs and tide pools, long stretches of sandy beaches, sand dunes, native shrub - a bit of everything. The driving can be a bit treacherous, some stretches are very soft or dune crests churned up with massive holes. Low tyre pressure and good momentum is what gets you through, sand trax come in handy (twice for others, once for us) and sand flags are also good to have to been seen when racing up a dune crest. I would start early from Robe or Beachport as time flies, 20 minutes stop here, half an hour there, lunch, helping others out of bogs, before you know it, the day is gone! Camping sites look a bit rough, so best to stay at Robe or...

We we're so keen to camp in this little spot and I'm sure it's picturesque. It was the first spot to come up when we googled 'Free camping Robe'. We followed google maps and headed on down the dirt track in the pitch black dark. This is definitely not a route for you everyday car. A four wheel drive is a must, it would be helpful if this was a bit more clearly outlined on the Google profile. The track is pretty rough, it's a long way from the main road and in the dark it was all a bit too 'Wolf Creek' for my liking. Scared we were going to get stuck, we turned around and headed back before we got to...
