Mutton Hole is a wetlands accessible by 2WD, in the dry, but would only use 4WD after rain. We saw Crocs - actually saw one kill, play with, and eat an Ibis (from a safe distance). The birdlife was awesome. Well worth spending a late...

If you can get to the river on an off road bike like I did or a 4wd it's got a few spots to bush camp. I tried fishing but there are too many trees along the bank to easily cast. Also be careful the bank is very slippery. Also watch...

This space is massive. While it is currently quite dry it still held an array of birds for my birdwatching husband including Saras cranes, brolgas and a jabiru....would be an incredible sight...
