Gardner's Vineyard — Attraction in North Shields

went to this great winery late morning, mid week in March 2024. Young lady host was great, very informative with the history of the family and creation of the winery. They dont charge for tastings and have very generous tasting samples from freshly opened bottles. I bought 2 bottles each of the cabernet shiraz, grenache, shiraz and port. We had a fantastic time here today! What a great chance to hear the story of how the winery came about and to sit and taste some delicious wine. The cellar door has only opened in the last couple of years but they have been producing wine for 10-15 years so the wines at the cellar door are all from 2012-2015 vintages. We had such an amazing time here! Stumbled across it whilst exploring Port Lincoln and we are so glad we popped in. The vineyard is beautiful, the wines are delicious and Annette made us feel like we were life long friends popping in for a tasting session and a yarn!
