Mount Frankland National Park — Attraction in North Walpole

Visited the place in late autumn. There is a lookout around 300m from the car park which provides a great view of the surrounding area and is easily accesible. If you are able, hike to the summit - it is a steep 600m hike and you would have to climb up stairs but the view is well worth the effort!! On the way back, go via the Cadyanup trail, a 1.5km trek around the base of Mt Franklin. A bit rough and rocky in certain places but it takes you through beautiful karri forest. A great park and area for hiking. A short walk takes you to the lookout that offers amazing views. Another walk takes you to the top of the big rock! There are lots of stairs but appropriate for most fitness levels - can always take a break and soak in the great view!
