The wind is cool and the water cold but the submerged rocks are slippery and the waves moderately strong. You could easily hurt yourself here. Unless you have a canoe or something like that to take you out a bit, swimming here is probably a bad idea. However, there are a reasonable number of shells and the sand isn't bad for walking on. It would probably make a good sunbathing beach but look out for a good spot to cool off in the water as there aren't many safe places.
