From 73-76 I was a U.S. Navy Radioman stationed there. I also have a brother who was stationed there, too; but, he left within a month after my arrival. Everyone I have met that were also there have great memories. The challenges were plenty: from a zillion flies; shark infested waters; triple digit heat and the animals (horses, Rooâs and birds) that loved to play Dodge the vehicle.
