Dom Dom Saddle Picnic Area — Attraction in Northern Victoria Region

It doesn't have build BBQ setup, Tho its an fire banned area people have build small fire pits near the benches to the back. You can get very easy off road experience as theres a track behind the picnic area where a 2wd can go for couple of kms. You must equiped with your camping gear, as in water, food, BBQ grill and etc. Calm and quit place and sometimes you can see some 4wd acess the track...

Lovely area with picnic and toilets. Used to be much nicer with a huge field and views but Parks Victoria in their misguided wisdom replanted it out. Who thought in a bush fire zone where this would have been the best place for a refuge of motorists or even fire fighters if stuck during a flash fire, decided to plant flammable trees in a clear zone honestly...

Beautifully located in the Black Spur region, Dom Dom Saddle picnic ground has toilets! There are many walks around here in the dense forest of tall mountain ash. Lovely hiking spot indeed.
