Park for Play — Attraction in Northern Victoria Region

I write to you requesting that the Mildura Rural City Council remove its list of 'Off Leash Parks'. The only location designated by this council for allowing dogs off leash is not completely fenced and does not provide separate areas for smaller dogs. The Mildura Rural City Council services a population of 65,000 with no 'off-leash' park or dog friendly areas.

The majority of people in this community are disappointed with the services provided by the Mildura Rural City Council along with the aggressive tactics employed by Civic Compliance Officers to further restrict the movement of pets and their owners by interrogating dog walkers.

This is a large playground for children of all ages. There are barbeques under a covered area. The playground is securely closed in with high fences and child proof gates. There are swings, a sandpit with a small climbing structure and other activities, there is one main large structure and other smaller structures, there are different size merry-go-rounds and rocking rides. This must be the best place for kids to spend an hour or so in Albury. Large playground with well maintained equipment, with a variety of choices to choose from.
