Kaesler Wines — Attraction in Nuriootpa

Do not waste your time with this place. We organised a group to do tastings. All paid for, probably one of the most sensible groups I have ever been out with. We had our water jugs refilled 5 or so times and 6 people chose to not do any tastings. This was our second destination which we were expecting to stay at for an hour or two, buying wine bottles after. We were the only customers in the entire place, the birthday girl asked to buy a glass of wine and the lady behind the counter said no and cut us off. We were cut off from further drinks after being there for maybe 20-30 minutes, sitting down and talking. Who even kicks their only customers out? Their service was disgusting anyway. Mothers Day 2023 at Kaelser Wines. The weather was perfect for a wonderful mother’s day celebration in the beautiful gardens of this winery. There was plenty of space for families to celebrate. The gardens were immaculate. Table and chairs were there to use. There was also live music. There was a petting zoo, face painting and puzzles for the children. For the adults there was wine, beer and soft drinks available. Groups could bring their own food. A photographer was on hand, and if one was interested, provided both print and/or digital images for free! The Kaesler Wines hosts were terrific. Worth a visit anytime. Barossa & Light Cab Service love Kaesler Wines, especially their "Old Bastard" Shiraz and "The Bogan". We love how the vineyards here were established in 1893, and that this is a James Halliday 5 star rated winery. Jules and the staff at the cellar door are very welcoming and have an excellent product knowledge. Barossa & Light Cab Services recommend visitors stay at the B&B accommodation because it is centrally located, and near a lot of other wineries, cellar doors and restaurants.
