Tree top adventure is an exhilarating and thrilling outdoor activity that allows individuals to explore the natural world from a unique and adrenaline-pumping perspective. It involves traversing through a series of challenging obstacle courses suspended high up in the trees, typically in a forest or park setting. This immersive experience provides participants with the opportunity to push their limits, conquer their fears, and enjoy the sheer joy of being surrounded by nature.
One of the most captivating aspects of a tree top adventure is the sense of freedom and liberation it offers. As participants climb up ladders and scramble across rope bridges, they can feel the wind rushing through their hair and the sun warming their skin. The feeling of being high above the ground, balanced precariously on a tightrope or swinging from a zip line, is both thrilling and awe-inspiring. It's a chance to momentarily escape the mundane routines of everyday life and reconnect with the raw beauty of the natural world.
The tree top adventure courses themselves are carefully designed to provide a wide range of challenges and obstacles. From wobbly rope bridges and swinging logs to zip lines and Tarzan swings, each element is strategically placed to test participants' balance, agility, and problem-solving skills. Negotiating these courses requires concentration, coordination, and a healthy dose of courage. As participants navigate their way through the treetops, they can't help but feel a sense of accomplishment with each obstacle they overcome.
While the physical aspect of tree top adventure is undeniably exciting, the experience also offers numerous mental and emotional benefits. As participants confront their fears and push themselves out of their comfort zones, they develop resilience and self-confidence. The satisfaction of successfully completing a challenging obstacle or conquering a fear of heights can be a transformative experience, boosting one's self-esteem and creating a lasting sense of achievement.
Moreover, tree top adventure allows individuals to connect with nature in a profound way. Being up in the trees offers a unique perspective on the surrounding environment. Participants can marvel at the intricate beauty of the forest, observe wildlife in their natural habitats, and listen to the symphony of sounds produced by the wind rustling through the leaves. This immersive experience fosters a deep appreciation for the natural world and encourages a sense of environmental stewardship.
Tree top adventure is a versatile activity that can be enjoyed by people of all ages and fitness levels. Whether it's a family outing, a team-building exercise for coworkers, or a solo adventure, there is something for everyone. The courses are typically designed with varying levels of difficulty, allowing participants to choose the level that suits their abilities and comfort. Trained instructors are always on hand to provide guidance and ensure safety, making it accessible even to those with little or no prior experience.
In conclusion, tree top adventure offers a unique and exhilarating way to experience the beauty of nature while pushing personal boundaries. It combines physical challenges, mental stimulation, and an opportunity for personal growth. Whether seeking an adrenaline rush, a team-building activity, or a memorable family outing, tree top adventure promises an unforgettable experience high above the ground, where the trees become the playground and the sky...
Read moreDO BETTER NETWORLD - 0/10 for inclusivity
I am lucky enough to run a school holiday program for kids living with disability. we explore various activities in Sydney. I’ve frequented Networld upwards of 15 times over the past two years - Which have been fine experiences - allowing flexibility around challenges that may arise for the children that have mild to severe disability, accepting companion cards and being an amazing experience for the kids. Keeping us coming back time and time again.
On Monday 22nd July I was met with a “we no longer take companion cards”, as I arrive with 10 children which all require 1:1 support.. I was shocked. What net world doesn’t understand is that their choice to do this, allows them to profit off the disability and support needs of those requiring support workers. They make their activity, which is relatively accessible for those without physical disability, if a support worker can go up, completely inaccessible or incredible expensive for those with a disability. If all businesses acted this way, what is the alternative for these children? As a business they should be disgusted.
Never the less, as the worker said “out of the kindness of our hearts”, they will waive the fee - So the children go up with support workers. One of the children once up had sensory issues around wearing shoes and became distressed. Once shoes were off he was fine. The staff came over yelling saying he must come down as his shoes were off, I said he has sensory issues, he has a disability and they said disability doesn’t exempt him from the rules. I again said he has a disability, we’ve been here before, this has happened and this hasn’t been a problem with the staff and we have had understanding. After chatting with staff, one member said “If it were a quieter day, we would let him”. The unpredictable decision of one able bodied, neurotypical, adult now impacts the day to day experience of someone with a life long disability... The staff kept saying it was a safety hazard, as I watched neurotypical children unsupervised, smash huge inflatables balls at each other - I begged for compassion, empathy and understanding for this boy with additional needs and his one to one support worker… I was met with “rules are rules”. The Networld staff then went up and ferried the boy and his support worker down. The result, a crying, heightened, distressed boy with L3 Autism, unable to participate in his activity for the day…
There was a long winded discussion had, although I won’t bore you in this review… Although I will say if you are looking for an inclusive activity with supportive staff, Networld is not for you.
Children with disability should be afforded the same opportunities as those without. Do better Networld, use your heart and your discretion to make decisions around sensitive situations. In all my years in the disability support space, I haven’t experienced such exclusion and discrimination. We will...
Read moreThe assistant manager at Central Coast, who calls himself Buddha, is a disgrace. He shows no respect for his customers with his aggressive attitude. If I was managing this place I would show him the door instantly for poor customer service and disrespect to clients.
We had an online booking today (Sunday Jul 21) and one of our kids is 3 days short of his 10th birthday. This guy, Buddha, who was the only one at reception servicing customers, immediately rejected the boy saying he cannot go on any of the tracks today. The booking included 6 boys and 2 adults altogether, so we were looking for a solution. Buddha was claiming abruptly that he cannot do anything and it's all the "insurance" fault. That's OK, we get that, rules are rules we said. So we asked what are the alternatives. From here the tone became harder and firmer - we would expect to have a civilized chat between a customer and a service provider to discuss the alternatives. Not in this case though.
Buddha said the boy would do the kids course rather than the juniors, in a very angry tone (not coming from someone who loves his job I would say). Given the gap in price I asked whether we're going to get a refund for this as the booking was already paid in full. He then raised his voice and said no refunds at all as part of our terms and conditions. I asked why won't you refund if you don't provide the service we paid for, and Buddha responded that "If you argue with me I'm going to call the police". Just like that, after 2 and a half sentences.
So good on you Mr. Buddha, I wish your manager was there on the day so I can complain immediately about the abrupt attitude and threatening to call the police while we (4 adults, mums and dads) were having a polite conversation with you. Really good example in front of our kids and truly amazing customer service.
Shame on you.
p.s. A man who claims the name Buddha should respect what stands behind this name and at least demonstrate some, if not all, of what Buddhism represents. So shame on you for...
