Owen is a Beautiful little town in SA. It is well worth the stop & look around, they have a post office & a pub the cleanest of public toilets. They have a beautiful coffee shop & hand made craft shop & the friendliest people. Please support our small towns they need us. P.s the Art on the Silo are a photo op.

Nice little place to stop at. Well worth the trip for a bit of history. Recommend stoping into the Owen Arms Hotel for a meal and a drink which is across the road. The silo art work is different to other silos I’ve seen but the story as to what the painting represents is quite humbling.

Beautiful silo art with an interesting history. Room for approx. 4 caravans to pull up right in front. We enjoyed walking through town and viewing the shops & some of the original 1939 construction. Free RV camp on the town Oval, with drinking water tap provided.
