The penong pink salt lake is an incredible place, geologically and beautifully it is a great site to visit and will make a great photo!
This stunning view is caused by high temperature salinity and light, a salt loving algae is drawn towards it and creates the pink pigment. at lake MacDonald there are incredible rocks with shells, these shells used to hold small animals that lived on the sea floor and have been caught in the solidifying rock and sandstone hundreds of thousands of years ago.
Standing inbetween the two lakes is the coolest feeling, it feels like two half's of your personality and you have complete control, and, standing next to the beautiful rolling waves and the exquisite landscape.

Driving into the Point Sinclair section today, there was no sunlight, and the Pink Lake had lost its usual vibrant colors. Instead, it welcomed travelers with a quiet, calming presence.
The water lay still and clear as a mirror, reflecting the cloud-covered sky. It felt like a soft ink painting in subtle grays and gentle blues, touched by the salty sea breeze and filled with tranquility.
There was no scorching sun and no noisy crowds — only the quiet confluence of earth and sky, reminding us that nature is not only about dazzling beauty, but also about gentleness worth stopping for and experiencing.
