Point Sinclair Pink Lake. — Attraction in Penong

When I first arrived at Lake Macdonnell, it looked like a natural wonder! It’s so beautiful! I truly regretted not having a drone with me in this trip. I could have taken some cool drone photoshots! Don’t forget to take yours if you’re visiting this beauty.

High in salt concentration, the lake gives the impression of a salmon pink lake on clear days. One side of the causeway is Pink Lake, the other side is Green Lake and further down over the small bridge is the Blue Lake.

Lovely place. Most famous pink lake in outback Australia. It’s in Every travellers’ To Do list for sure. If you are lucky, you will get to see the pink when it has few inches of water. If it’s dry it becomes pure white. If it’s full that’s when you get to see the beauty. Harsh place. But east to travel to. Sure to visit the shops n spend your dollars there. Bc of them we can go n visit this place. Nice people. Enjoyed every second in it. If you go all the way to the tip be sure to go on a 4WD with a winch. Or you will get stuck on those Sandy roads. Not bright pink at this time of the year anymore but still beautiful.
