What delightful spot to stop! This was our second visit, both times were different seasons. However this time had been flood effected the day earlier, therefore there was water in dry creek. Which was also over the paths in sections. It was loads of fun to place stepping stone rocks over the top so we could cross the path and continue to the end. When there is no water, the walk is an easy flat walk for the most part. Which finishes at a pond where the mysterious dream time serpent swims beneath. Loads of different bushtucker spotted making for great photos of fauna and flora. Take a picnic lunch and sit at the picnic tables after your walk. Read moreWe called in to this walk on our way back from Kings Canyon. We saw it mentioned on the info board at Kings Canyon and decided to do this rather than the short walk at Kings Canyon.
There was only about 5-6 other people there and it was a nice quiet walk. Easy going track and lots of different flowers to see. Parking was good.

We can now all enjoy this lovely spot with a very easy to follow track to the gorge end and water hole. There was plenty of parking for all vehicle types and a single toilet.
