If you look really closely you may just see a hint of pink. For non locals, please don't come because you think you'll see one of the great pink lakes of WA, the name will lead you astray! The cause for for water colouration is a bacteria called pink algae, although i could be mistaken about that particular bacteria type, but I was told by one of the locals that the lake lost its colours many years ago as this bacteria almost vanished from the lake, so its just another lake with beautiful view! People are confusing it with Lake Hillier on Middle Island, which is the one used on all the brochures and instagram, you'll need to do a scenic flight or boat cruise to get there.
