Flaherty Beach is definitely, South Australia's one of the fewer best beaches, with shallow, clear water.

The beach itself lakes facilities such as public toilets, restaurants and shopping but the close by town is within only 5 minute drive. The atmosphere is clean and calm. It can be a good rest point for by passers and or the visitors. You can drive any car to get to this point.

This is a must visit for me nearly every time I go to Marion Bay or Corny Point. When I go there, I prefer it to be during...

Parking available on the edge of the beach is somewhat limited. Short walk to the sand and another walk to the water as the tide was quite a bit away. The water was crystal clear, and small marine life was noticeable. Lots of tiny crabs, sand snail sacks, and small fish. The closest toilet is approximately 2 minutes up the road and has an accessibility toilet for convenience (near the community house). Beautiful beach, would...

Things to know: It was low tide when we got there so it wasn’t really the best day for swimming. Is it always low tide in there? There are plenty of car park spaces. No toilet or shower. There are millions of flies in there!! There are no barbecues nor picnic tables. There is a ramp from the carpark to the beach which is really good, it made it easier for us to walk...

Flaherty Beach is an absolute hidden gem! I visited a few months ago during a family holiday and it was well worth the trip. We traveled more than 220 km from Adelaide, and when we finally arrived, we were all amazed by the beauty of the beach. You won’t find anything like Flaherty Beach near Adelaide city. The crystal clear water and shining white sand make this place truly special. 🌊
