Ignore the signs that say Preston Falls - you are in the right place for Delaneys Falls (Preston falls can be accessed from a track beside the bridge you cross approx 5-700 M upstream of the bridge) and the fall that drop 25 M or so over the cliff is Delaneys Fall. Great track with plenty of steps but it is a short walk to the viewing platform just past the bridge. If you are feeling like a mountain goat you can get to the bottom of the falls from just past the viewing platform. Do not attempt this if you are in any doubt - it is steep - there is no engineered track and any time it is other than bone dry it is very slippery. Great waterfall when there has been reasonable rain, very scenic when there is mist in the valley

Very easy, short walk only a couple hundred meters from the road. Some stairs, well established walkway and viewing platform. Be mindful after significant rain / wet weather anything off-track is very slippery. Picnic table on the way, but be mindful although their are rails in most places, there are still steep drops etc. As others have mentioned, signage at the waterfall itself is incorrect as at July 2021. (Signed as Preston falls, actually Delaney.) Trip to falls and back would take 10 minutes at the very most.

Allow extra time on your trip to Gunns Plains for this waterfall on Preston Creek among rolling farmland. There’s a little car park on the Raymond Road, and a stairway guides you down to the edge of a gorge for superb view of the falls. The waterfall is around 25 metres tall, dropping over a sheer cliff cloaked in vegetation, with man tree ferns along the course of the creek. Try to time your visit after a period of sustained rainfall when the waterfall is at its most powerful.
