If you want something really different on your holiday, something a bit quirky yet interesting and funny at the same time. This is the place to come. It's for everyone not just the kids. If you love walking around and love little challenges you will be pleasantly surprised with the diversity of this place. It has maze challenges, it has jokes and riddles, you can have a selfie with the original owner and admire all the hard work and passion that went into creating this interesting place. If you get tired, there are seats to sit down and there is coffee for those who need it and nibblies. There is a gift shop to buy all sorts and THE TOILETS in the ladies area have to be seen to be believed. You know how us women take so long in the bathroom boys. Well not in this one. They have so many toilets, a whole group could go in at one time and there would be no queue. They are very large individual cubicles and very good for wheelchairs and mobility walkers or prams. Every nation is represented here in some way but ill let you discover that one. Come give it a go it's worth it and the staff are...

Rubbish, absolute Rubbish. Beside the fact we got there 1 hour before close and where still charged $60. But that was our fault. Because she did give us the option to leave and we thought well we’ve driven all this way we might as well go in. On entry we say old run down buildings and grounds. We recently visited the same style tiny village in Canberra and Canberra was by far the better of the two. This was a waste of $60 and we left after 30min.

It’s funny how they come back to say that it takes 4 hours to see the site (which I said it was our fault we arrived late) but they didn’t explain why 80% of the buildings are run down. Falling apart and look miserable. They came back and said their team spend time to keep the site in immaculate condition!! I can tell you, this site is not immaculate and if this is what they consider immaculate then they need their head read!! I urge you not to waste your hard earned money...

We came to Tasmazia after a few recommendations. We had a fun day and would recommend anyone coming this way to have a visit. The grounds are lovely and the mazes were fun. I would recommend an update on the park maps though. They are very basic and hard to follow. A copy of the one on the wall in the cafe would be much better. I would also say that it’s not stroller friendly. I was lucky to have my husband with me to push as I wouldn’t of been able to.

We also went to the cafe and had some lunch. They were very busy but were pretty quick with the service. The coffee however was watery, the scones under cooked and the pancake was large and fluffy looking but really dry. I’m not sure how I feel about the disposable plates and the size of them. Very small. Would washing the dishes not be better? The wedges however were lovely.

Anyway. Over all a good day out. Would I return?...

I really enjoy this place. We were prompted to go her after watching the travel guides. Entry was simple, there is no need to prebook. The mazes are good fun with plenty of activities especially for the kids. There are plenty of signs with witty remarks on them. A lot of work was put into designing the mazes and the miniature village. It is out of the way but we merged it with a trip to Cradle Mountain so it worked well. There is plenty of parking and the gift shop is interesting. It is a pity the founder has passed because we would really have loved to meet him. His quirkiness is evident throughout the site including the witty signs but also in the Tasmazia miniature embassies and township. I particularly liked the Iceland, Poland and the made up Embassies. There is a cafe on site but unfortunately it was closed the day we were there. It was a fun way to spend a couple of hours.
