This magnificent stretch of beach is completely undeveloped and you will need to bring everything with you including drinking water and a toilet. Avoid going there on long weekends such as Australia day as it gets extremely overcrowded and the number of four wheel drive vehicles tearing up and down the beach is ludicrous. I have grave concerns that there may not be very many living creatures left in the sand due to the shear volume of traffic on the beach. If you do decide to visit this area please try to be respectful of the environment and limit the amount of driving you do as much as possible. If you absolutely have to display your awsome driving skills may I suggest that landcruise park is a more appropriate destination for you. This is a unique natural place and anyone who has an opportunity to visit it should realise how...

We camped in the camping zone and had a wonderful time. Beautiful scenery, amazing fishing, and great memories. Except the whole experience was overshadowed by the attitude of the park ranger. With all the permits and fees associated with staying on the beach, it is sad that the parks service seems solely interested in finding any rules you may have broken so they can issue fines. Not even a "good morning". Straight into searching our camp-site and interrogating us about a campfire that we didn't have. This isn't a reflection on Teewah the place is amazing...

Qld parks service is easily the most over policied, most over charging, and least helpful in the country. If your 5 year old kid climbs a sand dune, or throws some bread to a bush chook, BAM, pay a fine. It's a bit...

Beautiful 4 x 4 beach location, just a skip across the river from Tewantin / Noosa on the car ferry. 4 wheel drive only and QLD national Parks driving Permit required. Plan your trip for at least 2 hours after high tide. Suggest Best to travel the beach 2-3 hours after high on the run out tide and off the beach by 2 hours before high, this will avoid being caught up in soft sand if something goes...
