Picnic Point Parklands — Attraction in Rangeville

Picnic Point is a fantastic place with shades picnic tables, playground areas for the kids, a rotunda for rainy days. Venue for bands and events especially over summer and a great place to meet and relax. Situated at the peak of the Toowoomba ridge, overlooking the Lockyer valley, frequented by locals and visitors constantly for the view... There's always something to do here. The Point is also the trailhead for several great walking trails down the mountain, or across to Table Top, or the close by ridge walk, past the artificial waterfalls and secluded garden paths. A place for solitude and reflection, or that family get together by day, and at night watch the lights winding up...

Stunning park area with a lookout, small waterfall, picnic areas and a restaurant. The park itself is relatively large and there's plenty of different short walks to choose from. The lookout is particularly nice, with views of Table Top Mountain and the surrounding area. Dogs are allowed on leash in the park, including down to the waterfall area and stepping stones.
