Beautiful walk! There are two main ways to tackle the loop: if you head up on the left side (clockwise), you’ll face about 260 steps, while starting on the right side (anti-clockwise) involves roughly 135 steps. The total elevation is the same either way, but the experience can feel quite different. Some enjoy the challenge of more steps, while others prefer the steady incline of the sloped path. We suggest doing it anti clockwise if climbing multiple steps is hard, this is a more steady rise to the summit although if done clockwise there's several lookout spots to catch your breath. There's also a new toilet block and picnic/BBQ area at the foot of the track. Definitely well worth a visit when moored in the marina or visiting Rosslyn...
