Another fun trip with Bundeena Kayaks. We rented 7 single and one double kayak, and 2 or our party brought their own. Marnie was helpful suggesting the best time to leave to catch the high tide in to Cabbage Tree Basin. We all were given safety vests and dry bags. They fitted back rests for us too. Ages ranged from 5 to 79. The kayaks were very stable, the young girl didn't manage to tip her father off even when going under the bridge to Maianbar. This section is quite exciting on a high tide(1.8 m), more like a rapid. The kids loved that and wanted more. There were Mangroves to paddle through, rock formations at the side. At the end of the Basin we paddled up Cabbage Tree creek to the waterfall. Managed to catch the outgoing tide back under the bridge and out of the Basin. By this time a strong wind had sprung up but we managed to stay on and navigate chop and a few waves. The kids were thrilled with the whole day. Bundeena Kayaks helped us all off on the beach and carried our craft back up. Thank you Bundeena Kayaks for a memorable day that the kids are still talking about. The dry bags were appreciated, we could take phones and sandwiches...

As we were unannounced there was a ph. number available for us to call and in no time, Bruce, the very knowledgeable and helpful operator, turned up to provide us with everything we needed an more. Not only that, I had seen discount adds for the kayaks and when I mentioned this he was open to some negotiations even though it was school holidays. More than this though, was the knowledge he provided. Not knowing the capabilities of the lad I had brought to kayak, Bruce gave us tips on where to go, estimated accurate times and emphasised care for the environment which belonged to the Nation Park. We saw some magic wildlife and pristine views. I highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking for a great day of kayaking with some genuine, good old fashion service that is hard to find these day. Thanks from...
