Another fun trip with Bundeena Kayaks. We rented 7 single and one double kayak, and 2 or our party brought their own. Marnie was helpful suggesting the best time to leave to catch the high tide in to Cabbage Tree Basin. We all were given safety vests and dry bags. They fitted back rests for us too. Ages ranged from 5 to 79. The kayaks were very stable, the young girl didn't manage to tip her father off even when going under the bridge to Maianbar. This section is quite exciting on a high tide(1.8 m), more like a rapid. The kids loved that and wanted more. There were Mangroves to paddle through, rock formations at the side. At the end of the Basin we paddled up Cabbage Tree creek to the waterfall. Managed to catch the outgoing tide back under the bridge and out of the Basin. By this time a strong wind had sprung up but we managed to stay on and navigate chop and a few waves. The kids were thrilled with the whole day. Bundeena Kayaks helped us all off on the beach and carried our craft back up. Thank you Bundeena Kayaks for a memorable day that the kids are still talking about. The dry bags were appreciated, we could take phones and sandwiches...

During the school holidays I turned up to Bundeena Kayaks without a booking. To be honest I wasn't sure how the adventure would turn out as I was taking a friend's son of 13, on his first kayaking outing. As we were unannounced there was a ph. number available for us to call and in no time, Bruce, the very knowledgeable and helpful operator, turned up to provide us with everything we needed an more. Not only that, I had seen discount adds for the kayaks and when I mentioned this he was open to some negotiations even though it was school holidays. More than this though, was the knowledge he provided. Not knowing the capabilities of the lad I had brought to kayak, Bruce gave us tips on where to go, estimated accurate times and emphasised care for the environment which belonged to the Nation Park. We saw some magic wildlife and pristine views. I highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking for a great day of kayaking with some genuine, good old fashion service that is hard to find these day. Thanks from...

Bundeena Beach is a charming and relatively secluded beach located in the Royal National Park in Sydney, New South Wales. It's known for being a hidden gem, offering a more relaxed and natural alternative to Sydney's famous city beaches.

Parking 🅿️ is a challenge! Reach early 😊

Here’s a quick guide to Bundeena Beach:

Key Features & Vibe:

· Secluded & Family-Friendly: It's not as crowded as Bondi or Manly, making it perfect for a peaceful day out. The water in the sheltered bay is often calm, ideal for swimming with children. · Gateway to the Royal National Park: The beach is the starting point for several famous coastal walks, including the Bundeena to Otford Walk which passes the stunning Figure Eight Pools. · Village Atmosphere: Bundeena itself is a small, artsy community. You'll find a few cafes, a pub, and art galleries, giving it a laid-back, village feel. · White Sand & Turquoise Water: The beach itself is a beautiful stretch of white sand with clear,...

The kayaks we booked were available as requested with no issues. The sign-in process was very easy & they had areas for us to store our stuff while we kayaked. The staff who helped us gave us tips on where we could safely kayak, went to the trouble of taking photos for us and was also very friendly & nice. When we were heading too far out, one of the staff came out to help us. He was nice but also very funny when pointing out we were sitting backwards (we confused ourselves when we banked the kayak on the sand bay & got back in the water 😂) but they cared for our safety. Reasonably priced too. $50 for 2 hours. My partner who has never kayaked before enjoyed it so much that he wants to go back & he is not an outdoorsy person! 10 outta 10 (or 5 out of 5 in this case)

My husband and I booked a beginners guided tour with them and had an amazing experience we'll never forget. It was our first time ever trying kayaking and neither of us can swim that well. We had been thinking of taking it up for the longest of time but had been too afraid. Through their training and guidance, they made it feel so easy and so enjoyable that we have now become confident enough to go kayaking by ourselves. Thank you so much for helping us get over our fears and to actually enjoy the experience. Amazing team, amazing place, and everything was just perfect ❤️ PS: besides a kind and friendly guide we also got a personal photographer. Thanks Marnie for the tour and the beautiful photographs of us trying kayaking for the first time.

Always best kayak experience in Sydney. This is my second time to be there, the owner is super friendly and explain everything we need to know. The water is crystal clear and amazing view made my day. We booked kinda late around 11am, the owner suggested us the best time should be 9am of the day for next time. If you are lucky enough you can see the dolphins swim around but not for us this time. Just keep in mind that Sun screen and water is critical for the trip, dry bag will be awesome if you have to put your car key in(you can even borrow from owner for free). Will definately come again. Thanks for having us :)
