Boat Beach — Attraction in Sandbar

One of the few north-facing beaches on the NSW coast, Boat Beach provides gentle waves at most times for casual swimmers. Located in isolated Seal Rocks it is the perfect spot for a getaway however the van lifers have discovered it and have set up a semi-permanent campground. A very beautiful and picturesque beach that allows limited 4x4 access mainly for boat launching. The rocky area at the southern end is great for exploring but younger children may need help navigating the slippery rocks. The shore is not harshly sloped and makes for great swimming...

Great spot! Went snorkeling and saw an array of fish, turtles, sharks and stingrays. Waves were not too big for the young kids to enjoy. The day was still enough we did stand up paddle boarding. Parking was a little difficult due to the number of people.
