Sandy Creek Conservation Park is a beautiful natural area, secluded and varied in its flora and fauna. As a bird enthuisiast it is one of my favourite spots. At certain times of the year, mostly autumn, winter and spring, you will be able to spot a variety of birds,flowering flora and other wildlife. There are a number of signed walking tracks to choose from. There are NO bbq's, toilets or shelters available and strictly NO DOGS. So go prepared...to enjoy nature. Read moreThere is no facilities at this place & a small carpark & no dogs are allowed their..there is plenty of kangaroo's their with many Joey's this time of year..the place is not what U expect but does have some good walking trails..the place has possibly not changed since that piece of land was bought & entrusted to be left in its original state..it is amazingly sandy their once you leave the carpark but like most of the creeks that were stripped of their precious sand did they or even Sandy Creek ever have water in it?,I really don't know?maybe before the gold...
