The Harbour Playground (Octopus Park) — Attraction in Secret Harbour

Our visit to the Harbour Playground at Secret Harbour was truly impressive. This ocean-themed playground, fully fenced and inclusively designed, caters to children of all ages and abilities, making it a standout in terms of accessibility and engagement.

The centerpiece of the playground, a large, soft fall giant octopus, is not just visually striking but also serves as an imaginative focal point for play. The octopus's brightly colored tentacles offer a variety of climbing challenges, encouraging physical activity and coordination in a fun, safe environment. Positioned close to the beach and the Secret Harbour Surf Lifesaving Club, the playground's location adds to its allure, blending play with the natural beauty of its surroundings.

The park's amenities, including seating and picnic areas, make it an ideal spot for family outings, allowing for extended stays without discomfort. This aspect of the playground aligns well with my commitment to thorough assessments, as it demonstrates an understanding of the needs of a community space.

Nice spacious area with ability to see from one end to the other with limited obstacles to vision (important when you have small kids who love to run away quickly) major need for shoes, ground gets extremely hot very quickly and the roundabout seat becomes scalding for little feet. Cool little structures that are great to bang and talk about the shapes while climbing with soft surfaces for falling, slide is tall and exciting.
