Nice walk along the seaside and make sure Make sure you choose the "Bass Point Costal Walk" path otherwise you will end up with the shared dirt road with the cars, which is quite dusty when cars pass by. The costal walk is a scenic path along the sea side with very nice view, and you might see some whales if you are lucky!

There was not bass, so I’m reserved to say; what’s the point? Luckily, there was a bass player who joined us and set the scene quite nicely. So yes, it was an enjoyable experience and very pretty view to boot. Despite there being no bass in sight.

Great spot for a dive and swim! This is our usual spot for spearfishing and the water is a beautiful sanctuary. This is a lovely spot for divers too. So if you venture out here remember to bring your swimmers abs sine snorkel gear 😊

The long peninsula that curls to embrace Shellharbour to the south, Bass Point has a small picnic area just above the waves at its eastern extremity. The peninsula has several significant Aboriginal sites, linked by a walking trail that winds through coastal rainforest. The intertidal rock pools provide endless fascination, and there is much more to see if you pack a snorkel. Bushrangers Bay, the figure-eight-shaped bay at the very end of the peninsula, is an aquatic reserve with excellent, sheltered conditions for...

An absolutely stunning place to go!!! Great fishing spots within the reserve, as well as some lovely views if you are able to walk a short distance. Only negative that comes to mind is the terrible state of the road particularly as you come in.....it needs to be fixed as a matter...
