A great camp site without all the bells and whistles. The nearby beach is beautiful though it’s a pretty steep and stair-heavy walk to get there. The ammenities are well-below average and in need of some huge updates. Outdoor showers not working, kitchen was extremely greasy and the indoor showers and toilets are not very welcoming. Many of the camp sites are very close together and are extremely narrow. There are laundry facilities that we used and they seem to work well. Still, the location is well-placed for you to drive to many nearby beaches and landmarks and, if you know what you’re getting then I would still recommend staying here.

Great spot to go camping. Two beaches close by, Mystics and the Farm. We had no problems with management while we were there. Toilets and showers could do with an upgrade and weren’t the cleanest. However, at the end of the day, we are there to camp not to enjoy luxurious amenities. We had a fire down at the beach so we weren’t to bothered with not being able to have a fire on our campsites anymore. There are designated areas for fire with fire pits. All and all a great spot to camp.

Very small campsites with amenities. Our site (closest to toilet block) pooled with water during a storm and remained muddy for the remainder of our stay. Overpriced due to having hot showers, kitchenette which was useful to have. Bathrooms a bit run down. For beach access it's best to drive then walk. It's a fairly long way. No beach views from camp. Not much to do at the campground. Need to drive out. Overall it's okay but definitely the price is too steep.

Killalea Regional Park is a coastal sanctuary tucked between the beaches of Shell Cove and Kiama on New South Wales’ stunning South Coast. Spread across dramatic headlands, rolling hills, and pristine surf beaches, this park is a paradise for nature lovers, surfers, and families alike.

The star attraction is The Farm—a world‑class left‑hand point break revered by surfers nationwide. When the swell lines up, it creates long, clean rides that draw experienced wave riders seeking that classic South Coast barrel. Nearby Killalea Beach, also known as Mystics, offers gentler waves and safe swimming—perfect for less confident surfers, bodysurfers, or beachgoers wanting to soak up the sun without crowds.

Walking trails wind through coastal heathland and dunes, offering scenic loops that capture wide ocean views and vibrant native vegetation. Wildflowers and birdlife are abundant during spring and autumn, making these times especially rewarding for photographers and hikers.

Camping is available at Killalea’s camping ground, set amidst grassy paddocks shaded by native trees. Sites are generous and family‑friendly, with basic facilities including toilets, cold showers, and picnic shelter areas. Evenings are best spent gathering around a campfire while listening to ocean waves echoing in the distance.

Despite its natural beauty, the park remains relaxed and unpretentious—no theme park ride here, just unspoiled coast, friendly locals, and a laid‑back atmosphere. Whether you’re chasing waves, pitching a tent for a night under the stars, or simply immersing yourself in coastal wilderness, Killalea Regional Park delivers a refreshing escape...

Me and my wife stayed at Reflections Killalea Reserve along with friends, 2 other couples, over the weekend. Our friend made the booking over the phone & mentioned that each couple are intending to bring their own car (3 cars in total) – she was told by a staff member that it will be fine to do so. The booking T&Cs does not mention the number of vehicles allowed per site either. Upon arrival, the code we were provided with did not work & we had to call the Night Manager (it was a late check-in) for assistance – only at that point were we told that only 2 vehicles per site are allowed. As we came prepared for a stormy weather, we had much camping equipment with us.. a very unpleasant surprise. The Night Manager was not sympathetic to the fact that the communication we received upon booking was terribly misleading.

Apart from this, the state of the showers and toilet are rather poor as well.

Very poor and unprofessional service & experience - we DO NOT recommend staying at Reflections...
