Jody was excellent in conducting the wine tasting and was a fabulous host. We ended up buying 6 bottles which we then had shipped to Perth for free! Also there are a few Christmas packages deals and one of them meant we got two free port glasses. Whilst in there several different locals came just to order the wine and were not holding back on the number of bottles as they said they loved these wines so much! If driving near definitely worth a visit! They don’t just do tropical fruit wines but also Ports and Creams.

Don't be fooled by the "humble" look from the outside. This place is a MUST visit if you're roadtripping along the FNQ Coast. Fruit Wines, Fruit Ports, Fruit Liqueurs πŸ˜‹ Great deals on multi buys as well. I loved that the tasting of each bottle was very generous, AND from a little glass wineglass as opposed to a plastic cup, it was a nice touch. Be sure to have a read about the history of Murdering Point whilst there, and it's also worth taking a 5 minute drive further to have a look at Kurramine Beach.

Stop in and check theses guys out if you can! I was only passing by and was curious bcs of the name but glad I pulled in because Melissa was so lovely and accommodating it was definitely one of the highlights of my road trip from Cairns to Townsville. I bought a bottle to fly back to Brisbane with which she bubble wrapped for me (gotta protect the goods) and it was just nice to have good conversation with friendly locals whilst road tripping alone. The wine was delicious! Thank you Melissa.

Great experience! First impressions were impressive. The grounds were immaculate despite some recent wet weather. We were warmly greeted by lovely Becca as we entered the winery building which was also presented beautifully. Becca was friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. She explained each tasting and at no stage did we feel rushed or pressured. She also gave us some history of the area and we met some happy local people who were obviously regular customers - that says a lot about the winery and its products. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience and went home with six bottles for the price of five! They can also arrange delivery. This is a must-visit place if you are staying locally or driving along...

Murdering Point Winery was a great experience. Our family of five stumbled on this diamond when we were heading home to South Australia (Wine - Shiraz country) from our Cape trip. Three of the family(who own and run the place were behind the counter and all contributed to an awesome tasting experience which encompassed 21 to 50 something year olds. There is something for all tastes. Our FAVOURITE was the MOCHA CREAM, then Peppermint and Banana Cream. Winter we love the SAPOTE PORT. We will order more soon on line as we are...
