A calm, peaceful environment with a panoramic view of the coastline. The lookout is easily accessible, and there’s a small parking area nearby. The ocean view is nice, especially on a clear day when you can see far into the distance. During migrating season whales can be viewed from this location.Has a telescope free for public use. From the lookout we could see the painted Water tower on Slade Point in the distance. Roughly 20mins drive out of the central precinct. There is parking for a small bus, roughly 6 cars and one handicapped parking located at the summit. Though there is more parking located further down before the lookout. Unfortunately no public toilets. Highly...
Read moreWe used this lookout as a little stop off on our way to Cape Hillsborough. Lovely lookout where you can occasionally spot humpback whales and turtles and seals. The day we visited, it was super windy and was a quick stretch of our legs. We wouldn't go out of our way to visit again however if it was on the way to our destination we would definitely stop by for some animal spotting!
There was around 8 car parking spaces, I can imagine during any holidays in Australia this place could fill up quickly so do bear that in mind
