The Piles Creek Loop proved to be a truly rewarding experience. This approximately 5km trail offers stunning scenery and a wonderfully relaxing atmosphere, with much of the path shaded by trees, making it an ideal escape even on hot summer days. The highlight of the journey is undoubtedly the bridges—though small, they leave a lasting impression with their charm. I also noticed a few campers enjoying the area nearby, adding to the sense of adventure. Overall, it's a perfect spot for those who love bushwalking. However, it's important to note that this is a grade 5 trail, so be prepared for a challenge with plenty of stairs, stones, and steep sections...

What can I say other than we f&@king smashed it. My work colleague Joanna and I blazed the trail in 1 hour and 11 minutes. The walk is a mixture of winding track with up and down sloped uneven terrain, a couple of steep inclines and declines and who can forget the the killer stairs from hell just past the halfway mark foot bridge. All in all it was a good walk got the sweat rolling and the heart pumping and I am sure tomorrow the legs will be aching 😂😂😂. A great 4.2k work out walk not for the faint hearted but like I said we smashed it. Probably won’t be so cocky tomorrow but for now...

Lovely hike with a consistent distribution of steps up and down and some nice stretches of pathway between. Some areas gave you a bit of work but it was never too much or more importantly for too long. Some pretty waterfalls along the way and a really gorgeous surrounding rainforest.

Found it challenging without being over the top, and completed it in about 1:30 - 1:40 while stopping at most of the lookouts. Total of about 4.5 kms.

Really lovely with lots of places to stop and...

A magnificent walking track through some remarkable national park. Can be a little muddy after rain but the benefit is lots of water flowing through the creeks making the waterfalls look beautiful. Plenty of caves along the way to explore. The track is well constructed and maintained. Quite a few steps to contend with so not an easy walk but if you take your time it’s worth it. Allow plenty of time especially in winter when daylight goes quite early.

Magnificent track to experience the abundance of natural beauty. Start with the waterfalls then progress down to the river bridge crossing. Really great how the NPW have made this track what it is. Steps, handrails, and mini bridges to make the experience better. Not for the young or those first time bush walking. Good level of fitness required as you mount deep down into the gorge. Take water and don’t attempt on a hot day.
