If I could give 10 stars, I honestly would! Riversands Wines is an absolute gem — breathtaking surroundings, incredible wines, and such a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that you immediately feel at home. 🍇✨

We started our visit with the amazing French duo, María and Cyril — their wine knowledge is absolutely next-level. 🍷🇫🇷 Every wine they recommended came with fascinating insights and a deep passion that made each sip unforgettable. Their expertise truly turned our tasting into a masterclass!

And just when we thought the experience couldn’t get any better… Inés took over. 🌟 Her service was beyond exceptional — not only did she guide us through the wines with warmth and passion, but she also served our food with care, constantly checking that we had everything we needed and making sure we felt completely looked after. She didn’t just provide a tasting; she created an entire experience that felt personal, attentive, and truly magical.

We left completely amazed, already planning our next visit. If you’re anywhere near St George, Riversands Wines is an absolute...

We walked all the way from town to get there and didn't regret it. We walked in feeling lost and unsure on how to approach the wine tasting but Alison offered us a seat and walked us through the process. She educated us on the tastes their wines have to offer and got to know us throughout the process. She knew us by name and where we came from. They are the most welcoming staff and enjoy the variety of people that come through their door. Now to the wine, it's all their selection that they make themselves, 12 all up. Ranges from sparkling to Port. Each bottle has a story behind it that brings in the community, we found ourselves reading a little about local heros while enjoying a nice...

Spent a lovely morning at Riversands on the 10th of January. Had a delicious morning tea of a cheese platter with Riversands own Grape Chutney (yum) whilst my family had pikelets and scones with Riversands Grape jam and fresh cream and a brownie. We ate in the shade of their beautiful gardens. Service was prompt and friendly and food was delicious (as was the coffee!) I then had a tasting of the Riversands white and red wines as well as their ports. Our host was accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable. We ended up buying a bottle of Merlot, a bottle of "FGP"port (so nice) and a jar of their Grape jam. Highly...

We had such a lovely afternoon at Riversands Wines. Our wine tasting was with David Blacket, the owner, who was so friendly and really knew his stuff. Such a down to earth guy. All the staff were lovely and the cafe a very pleasant spot - grassed areas in the garden, delicious scones and good coffee. Definitely recommend the Grape Combo Jam which has macadamias and ginger. Plenty of room for kids to run around in as well. Really beautiful spot and we hope to visit again when we’re next in town!
