Banca Ridge Winery — Attraction in Stanthorpe

We had a wonderful wine tasting experience at Banca Ridge Winery. The cellar door was welcoming and beautifully set up, with a relaxed atmosphere that made the tasting feel both approachable and enjoyable.

The wines were excellent – a great range with something to suit every palate, from crisp whites to bold reds. What made the experience even better was the time with wine maker -Arantza who was knowledgeable and friendly and guided us through the tasting, sharing insights about each wine without overwhelming us.

It was the perfect mix of professionalism and warmth, and we left not only with a few favourites to take home but also with a deeper appreciation for the wines of the Granite Belt.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the lunch we had at Varias Restaurant. We both had the "Medley of Mains" sampler, which is accompanied with matching wines and a dessert. The food, drink, ambiance & service were outstanding. Our only complaint, and the reason we rated this 4 stars and not 5, was that, although we were seated inside, we spent a lot of our time brushing away quite a number of flies. Unfortunately the highly recommended restaurant was fully booked for dinner so we had to settle for a wine tasting session instead. That was hosted by a very knowledgeable chap who was entertaining as well. Cellar door prices were very good and we purchased an assortment of there great wines . Car parking was plentiful.
