A fabulous 360° view of the surrounding hills and valleys is worth the climb, however this is not a climb for anyone with a weak heart or weak knees. The first kilometre is the most challenging with an elevation of 700 metres. After that, the last 500 metres is relatively easy. The steps are a little higher than most because of the ascent. Patience is needed both going up and down but well worth making the effort and allowing time for adequate rest stops.
