Well, what an experience! I came hear 20 years ago when it was just the old Bellingham Maze with my own children and wow how time has changed things bringing my grandchild here to the now Amaze World! The Bellingham Maze is still kicking and still an experience to travel through. The way out leads you to puzzles and adventures that cause you to think and move in ways to stimulate your mind using your body that are fit for fun for all ages. Obviously, younger ones will need someone to read instructions for them. A few are pictured below. With plenty of seating and shaded areas around the property to accommodate fitness levels of all ages and more around the playground and small water play area that is outside the Cafe area. The Cafe is a wee bit expensive but the food is tasty and the service is second to none. There is a fantastic raised seating area where you can look out over the old maze which is quite lovely with the windwill in the background. The only suggestion I would make is adding a water fountain for people to drink out of and fill their water bottles. It's not viable to purchase 3 water bottles per person for a day's visit, and that's with bringing your own. It's just so darn hot or maybe it's the day I visited. The mini golf is fantastic being able to play as many games as you like unlike other theme parks where this is an added extra per game. This makes Amaze World stand above the others when it comes to value for money for entry price. We're 5 hours in and still going strong, they'll be closing shop and kicking us out, there's just so much for a Granny and her grandchild Miss 5 to do. Overall, 5 stars for everything because Miss 5 and I have had a blast, a laugh and a great time. Good food, good times and memories that you cannot replace. Definitely a 2 latte day. The staff may be young but they are brilliant, not a manager in site except for on the phone near the...

Was going to be 3 stars but I’ll give them an extra just because $33 really is a very fair price for entry and judging by a lot of the other reviews - people obviously don’t realise this. To those people I say - stay away from Gold Coast theme parks if you’re too stingy to pay $33 per person 🤣 Also, open your mind a little to all of the costs associated with staffing, maintaining, and managing a business and then perhaps $33 will seem a little more understandable to you.

Visited here around 20 years ago before bringing my family here today and I guess it didn’t really live up to the memories for me but my family seemed to enjoy themselves at least. Entry was around $30 per adult, the food was pretty good and fair prices, for someone without prior knowledge of how great the original place used to be - it would be a great day out.

I understand the business needs to adapt to the changing interests of our younger generations but the digital games really just cheapen the experience in my opinion. Unnatural, and lacking of any kind of artistic value. Honestly, the gnomes were nicer to look at than those tacky signs.

Kids spend way too much of their precious childhood staring at phones these days anyway, why ruin a perfectly good family activity with video game trash? The activities and attractions which encourage discovery and adventure were a much better use of space and funds. Something like a giant chess set would be cool, though I doubt many of today’s children would understand the game.

I also remember the puzzle shop being filled to the brim with the most beautiful and inventive wooden puzzles and games but the cafe barely had anything.

For me, it was a little disappointing. A little because it’s another magical place from my childhood ruined, and a little because of the repulsion I have for the way the new generations are being raised on and by...

I am giving this two stars and the two stars i am giving is only for the garden hedge maze as that was actually pretty cool but everything else is not worth a star. Very tidy and clean place but for what you pay and what you get is two different things. We paid $160 for a family. Our gut was telling that this was probably not gonna be worth it but then the lady at the counter told us there were five mazes, putt putt, waterpark and playground. This was a huge EXAGGERATION.

  1. Maze - there is definitely not five mazes. there is one garden maze. you cant call some string and rope tied to four poles a maze. you cant call wood screwed down to a few tyres a maze. if you said that at the start we would not have come in..(be honest to your customers)
  2. Waterpark - that is definitely not a waterpark. Our bathtub has more water in it. your waterpark is like a dogs tiny little splash pool.
  3. Putt Putt - you cant just drill 18 holes in the ground and call it mini golf. there were other families there saying the exact same thing we were all thinking. you cant call the putt putt. we didnt even bother with it.
  4. playground - this was ok for kids under 6 but other then that its more of a decorations is what we felt as there wasnt much to it. you can go to parks anywhere for free but when you pay to go on a park then you expect more then what you would get from a local free playground.

We feel that you need to adjust your prices by more then half or add some more value to the place as it just is way to much for what is on offer. Tell your staff to be more honest about the 5 so called mazes. maybe tell people you have 1 real maze and 1 tiny wooden maze and the rest are more like tiny obstacle course.

Also, i did try and call to discuss this and ask for half our money back. Did not...

Yeah, honestly a bit of a let down. An Adult and a child entry together cost 54 bucks. And that was because of the reopening discount. This gets you access to the Hedge Maze (which in itself isn't too bad if you've never been in one before), The wooden maze (fun, but extremely underwhelming short), lids playground and mini mazes...and kf course the mini golf. The main maze, is partially okay. However The statues of the dwarves are very old and run down, as is the windmill thats at the rear of the park. Definitely needs a paintjob. However the hedges are well maintained and for a kid/teen, its perfectly acceptable. The smaller wooden maze would be more of a challenge for adults if it was larger, however, it's very small and no more than a few minutes worth of searching for the exit. The mini golf course is cramped and really in need of a bit of a refurbishment, as whenever there aren't kids running around the courses that are all closely bunched togrther... your ball is rolling away from the starting point because there's a rusty hole where the marker should be. It's not terrible, but very underwhelming. Every course is similar, with maybe a rock or two as a hazard. Nothing interesting or challenging really...but overall, it's old, cracked and underwhelming. It needs some more spice or attraction features. Hell...even some colour. I'm sure that for children under the age of 9 or 10, it's a fun little experience for an hour or so, But if you're an adult, don't expect much.
